Aurora Federal Credit Union

Aurora Federal Credit Union

The 22-000-square-foot Aurora Federal Credit Union transformed a former auto repair shop and was sitting vacant in a shopping center parking lot. The design created an identity for the bank that is inviting and professional. Punching in windows fenestrations allow natural light into the space. The addition of a prominent entry, sunshade roof design adds dimension to the once flat appearance of the structure.

A skylight atrium in the center of the lobby creates a dynamic impact. Offices are placed on the exterior walls looking both into the lobby utilizing structural glazing communicating the bank’s transparency. High-end millwork, teller lines, locker rooms, break rooms, a cafeteria, and IT room were all constructed. The layout of the landscape and hardscape guide patrons to the drive-thru lane and parking.
