Our History

In the 1960s, twin brothers, Allen and Tony Miller, began their careers at different commercial construction companies. After many years their experience accumulated, and their desire to work as a team grew stronger. They wished to create a business built on family values and ethical service. In 1979 A.D. Miller Construction & Drywall was established.
By the early 1990s, as the construction market grew, so did their portfolio of work as they took on more ground-up commercial projects. Rebranding as A.D. Miller Services, Inc., their client load expanded in geography as well as breaking past the boundaries of Colorado’s Front Range and managed projects in the Roaring Fork Valley and the Western Slope regions of Colorado.

Their client list grew to include national retailers, like May D & F, Lord & Taylor, and prominent credit unions and financial institutions across the State. It was during this time that they broke into the K-12 schools, working with Denver Public School and Douglas County Schools.

During the mid-1990s, Allen Miller’s two sons, Adam and Drew, were eager to become involved. They worked at the company and learned as much as they could about running the business before heading off to college. After college, they pursued their careers independently before coming back together to begin the ownership transition to Adam and Drew in 2015.
Under their leadership, they have broken into other new markets, such as aquatics, recreation, and public works. By 2010, A. D. Miller completed a significant accomplishment with the completion of their first religious project, Our Lady of the Snow, in Granby, Colorado.
In 2016 another goal was realized as they completed their first recreation project, with the Ken Caryl Ranch Community Center and Pool. And in 2022, broke into the public works market in 2023 with the Parker Water & Sewer Well Equipment Storage Building project.
A.D. Miller had the opportunity to transform the Most Precious Blood Catholic Church. Adam and Drew Miller grew up as members of the church since childhood. Improvement were made across the campus including the church, parish hall, schools, and administration buildings.
The company culture they have created extends beyond family and into the communities they support, The team also begun its partnership with Samaritan House, Catholic Charities of Denver, and the Junior League of Denver. Today, they continue to deliver customer service-oriented construction.
