Primrose School - Sterling Ranch

Creating Spaces Where Learning Thrives

Project Overview

This freestanding building and site development project was constructed in a fast-track manner where A.D. Miller guided and worked closely with the owner and architect to develop budget-sensitive solutions.

This brick-veneered school pays homage to classical school design lines from the past. It is familiar, inviting, practical, and fits right into the context of the new neighborhood. The building's playful fenestration allows natural light to flood into classrooms, with the west windows capturing views of the front range.

The school provides welcoming spaces with safety and security in the front. Several school rooms have uplifting vaulted ceilings, and there is even a stage to deliver performances. The foundation is supported on caissons, with stucco and stone exterior, and a membrane roof with a standing seam metal porte cochere entry.

Full site development including site grading, utilities, landscaping, and playground equipment.
